Croatia Donates Sculpture to World Health Organization

Croatia has gifted a sculpture to the World Health Organization (WHO) headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. The sculpture, created by Croatian artist Nikola Vudrag, is titled “The Gift” and symbolizes solidarity, health, and the fight against disease.

The donation ceremony, which took place at the WHO headquarters, was attended by the Croatian Minister of Health and the WHO Director-General. During the event, both parties emphasized the importance of international cooperation in promoting global health and acknowledged the symbolic value of the artwork.

The sculpture, made of bronze, depicts figures in a dynamic pose, representing unity and shared responsibility. Its placement at the WHO headquarters serves as a visual reminder of the collective efforts required to address health challenges worldwide and promotes hope for a healthier future.

This donation follows Croatia’s long-standing commitment to supporting the WHO and contributing to global health initiatives. The sculpture is now a permanent fixture at the WHO headquarters, representing Croatia’s dedication to international cooperation in health matters.
